HMS Albion docked in Stockholm
Four people, including one British citizen, were arrested on suspicion of murder after US Navy soldier found dead after a night out in Stockholm.
At the time of death, the 25-year-old soldier was in Sweden, performing military exercises aboard HMS Albion for defense exercise Aurora 23.
The Royal Navy said it was assisting the Swedish police in the investigation. “We are aware of the incident in Stockholm and we are assisting the local authorities in their investigation. Further comments would be inappropriate" the spokesman said in a statement.
