Now officially: the updated FAW Bestune T99 crossover has arrived in Russia, prices have been announced

The large Chinese SUV is offered in two trim levels with a non-alternative two-liter turbo engine.

The Russian office of FAW announced the Bestune T99 crossover back in April, and at that time the release was accompanied by images of the pre-reform model (in addition, such an SUV first “hung” on the consumer site). And last week, Kolesa.ru found out that in the end they decided to bring a restyled SUV to us. So now the local division of FAW has officially announced the appearance in the Russian Federation of the updated T99, announced prices and specifications.

Recall that in native China, a refreshed crossover was presented at the end of last year. Restyling brought T99 a frameless grille, a new emblem of the Bestune sub-brand and other bumpers. Vertical stripes of navigation lights were abandoned, instead of them — «jackdaws». The «fangs» were also removed from the stern, in addition, the plate uniting the taillights is now painted in body color. The interior is generally the same.

Dimensions have not changed. The length of the FAW Bestune T99 is 4800 mm, the width is 1915 mm, the height is 1685 mm, and the wheelbase is 2870 mm. That is, the crossover is a classmate of the Kia Sorento, while the “Chinese” is exclusively five-seater.

There is only one engine — this is a 2.0 petrol “turbo four”, which on our version produces 218 hp. and 340 Nm (in China — 224 hp, the same torque). The engine is «powered» by the AI-95. In Russia, the T99 is available only with the classic six-speed “automatic” from Aisin (in China, the crossover still has 8AKP). Drive in any case only front. It is stated that the cross will gain the first “hundred” in 8.6 seconds.

FAW Bestune T99 is offered in two trim levels — Exclusive and Luxury. The list of standard equipment includes: LED optics, 20-inch wheels, «leather» interior, dual-zone climate control, combined virtual tidy and touchscreen multimedia systems (each screen is 12.3 inches), heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof in the roof, front and side airbags, curtain airbags, all-round cameras, cruise control. The «luxury» version adds adaptive cruise, auto-braking, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring. .jpg» />

Recommended price of T99 Exclusive is 2,950,000 rubles, Luxury version is 3,040,000 rubles. Crossovers will appear at dealers in June.

The FAW also reported that the Russian market remains important for the concern, and that the model range will be expanded again in the future (but without clarification). Now, in addition to the T99, we have the B70 liftback, T55 and T77 crossovers. At home, the Bestune lineup also includes the M9 minivan and the B70S cross-hatch, plus the T90 SUV is being prepared for the start of sales.
