During the restyling, the American brand truck received a new “filling”: the HEMI V8 was replaced by a 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo six.
The Ram brand belongs to the young auto giant Stellantis, which appeared in early 2021 as a result of the merger of PSA and FCA. The brand's bestseller continues to be the Ram Pickup, and its most popular modification is the 1500 version. Let us recall that the current truck was introduced in 2019, and now the manufacturer has officially presented the restyled Ram 1500 pickup.

The updated Ram 1500, which was assigned the 2025 model year, has a refreshed exterior: the main changes affected the front end. Thus, the head optics are now visually connected to an enlarged radiator grille, which is more inclined forward than its predecessor. As before, the design of the “grill” differs depending on the version of the full-size pickup truck; a total of eight grilles are available, including the Tradesman, Laramie, Rebel versions and the new version – Tungsten (with a pattern in the form of horizontal strokes). The rear of the Ram 1500 has been updated with new taillights; in addition, the car received a new mechanism for opening and closing the side (with electric drive).
The interior also received its share of changes. The new version of Tungsten, in particular, received an interior in exclusive colors Indigo and Sea Salt, a ceiling trimmed in suede, and front seats with electrical adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage in Natura Plus leather. This pickup truck was also equipped with a wireless charger for smartphones and a Klipsch Reference Premiere sound system with 23 speakers.

All versions of the refreshed Ram 1500 now have a higher resolution 12-inch touchscreen for the Uconnect 5 infotainment system. For more expensive options, there is a new 14.5-inch touchscreen with the ability to split the display. The new product may also have a separate 10.25-inch screen intended for the front passenger (the same is available on the previously presented “electric pickup” Ram 1500 REV). Different versions also have their own interior decor features.

The main update of the restyled Ram 1500 is under the hood: the fact is that the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 of the pre-reform version was replaced by a 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo six. The engine is offered in two boost variants — in the initial versions its output is 426 hp and maximum torque is 623 Nm; and in top versions the engine produces 548 hp. (706 Nm). For comparison, the predecessor's V8 power was 400 hp. (555 Nm). The model's range still includes the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 starting engine (309 hp and 367 Nm).

Stellantis also brought back the name Ramcharger, only now it is not a Dodge SUV (the brand also belongs to the auto giant), but one of the modifications of the Ram 1500. This model is equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 92 kWh, as well as a dual-motor power plant (one electric motor on each axle), its total output is 672 hp, and the maximum torque is 833 Nm. The system also includes a 3.6-liter V6 engine that assists in the operation of the generator (it has no mechanical connection with the wheels).
The maximum rated range of the Ram 1500 Ramcharger is 1,110 km, and it accelerates from zero to “hundreds” (up to 96.7 km/h) in 4.4 seconds. The load capacity of this pickup is 1191 kg, and it can tow up to 6350 kg.

It is known that sales of the updated Ram 1500 truck in the States will start early next year. Prices have not yet been made public, but expect the cost of the model to increase (the price tag of the current “1500” starts at $38,570). It is not yet known when the Ram 1500 Ramcharger will go on sale; For now, dealers are collecting pre-orders.
