On November 10, before the start of in-person sales, a huge queue of people wishing to purchase tickets to the ballet “The Nutcracker” again formed; in order to enter the box office, they first had to obtain a bracelet with a number.

“Due to the large number of visits to the site in connection with the sale of tickets for performances of the Nutcracker ballet, interruptions in its operation are possible. Sometimes users are able to download the performance schedule, but it is still impossible to go to the next stage to select seats and purchase.

The head of the State Duma Committee on Culture, Elena Yampolskaya, previously stated that the committee sent an appeal to the general director of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater, Vladimir Urin, asking questions about the situation with the sale of ballet tickets. The director of the Bolshoi Theater responded that the Bolshoi Theater annually improves the ticket sales system for popular performances.
