November 21 actor I was traveling to a theater rehearsal from Saransk, where I was spending the weekend. At about 7 o'clock in the morning he had an accident on the 319th kilometer of the M5 highway, in the Ryazan region. It is not yet clear why the actor’s Audi A4 suddenly lost control — either the weather conditions were to blame, or the driver felt ill while driving. The foreign car flew into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus. The actor died on the spot from injuries incompatible with life. Maxim is survived by his wife, sister and parents — they live near Smolensk. The funeral will take place on November 23rd. The theater will provide financial assistance to the actor's family.

Shakhrov was accepted into the theater troupe in 2020 after graduating from the acting department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture. In three years he played 23 roles in the theater. Among them are Yesenin, Little Muk, Pantalone in “The Servant of Two Masters”, Seryozha in “Screwdriver”. According to reviews from colleagues, the artist was cheerful and very talented.
