In Yekaterinburg, a 47-year-old man at night on November 26, he set fire to a wooden house with two teenagers inside. Law enforcement officers promptly detained the hooligan, a source in the security forces shared details.
As KP-Ekaterinburg reports, the emergency occurred in the area of Lake Shartash. According to the publication, at that moment a woman, her 17-year-old son and 15-year-old nephew were in the house. As noted in the publication, the man locked the doors and set them on fire. “The woman and the teenagers hid in the rooms; before that, he threw chairs at them,” the article says.
The suspect had previously been convicted of theft, hijacking and robbery. He spent 20 years in prison. After the incident, a case was opened against him under an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Now he faces 15 years in prison. The Investigative Committee for the region refrained from commenting.
