The former prime minister will tell Republican lawmakers that conservatives on both sides of the Atlantic need to confront Russia because it is part of a “totalitarian axis” that threatens the West.
It comes amid fears that a future US administration could stop support for Kiev as several Republican presidential candidates criticize the scale of military aid to Ukraine.
Ms Truss is part of the delegation. organized by the Conservative Friends of Ukraine, which also includes former Conservative leaders Lord Howard and Sir Iain Duncan Smith, as well as MPs Jack Lopresti and Mark Francois.
The group will hold talks on Capitol Hill during the week in Washington with senators, congressmen and other Republican Party leaders to strengthen unity against Russian aggression.
The visit comes amid ongoing controversy over the US military aid package to Ukraine.
A group of hardline right-wing Republicans called for funding to be redirected to Israel as it fights Hamas, while others said the US should prioritize containing China over supporting Ukraine.< /p>
During their visit, however, the Tory delegation is expected to draw parallels between Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the Hamas attack on Israel.
They will also warn that if Vladimir Putin wins, it will help China and other countries. states hostile to the US, such as Iran and Venezuela.
Ms Truss said: “The West faces a very real threat from a hostile axis of totalitarian regimes. It is critical that conservatives stand up for our values of freedom and democracy.
“We are in Washington to deepen our partnership with our Republican allies in the fight against these villains who will destroy our way of life.
«This visit could not come at a more critical moment, given the horrific attacks on Israel, Russia's illegal war in Ukraine and Xi Jinping's saber-rattling on Taiwan.»
Lord Howard said that although the conflict in the Middle East «has taken the war in Ukraine out of the headlines,» «the stakes remain high.»
«If Putin gets his way, the future of the Baltics, Taiwan and the Middle East will look bleak,» he said.
“It is therefore vital that Western support for Ukraine remains unchanged. . That's the message my colleagues and I will take to Washington.»

Lord Howard said the delegation would meet with Republican congressmen, «some of whom may have doubts about the right course of action.» «We will do everything we can to persuade them to stay with Ukraine,» he added.
Sir Ian warned that the West faced a «new authoritarian axis» with China at the top, positioning «the single greatest threat faced by the free world since the end of the Cold War.» And Mr Lopresti, chairman of the Conservative Friends of Ukraine and deputy chairman of the Tory party, said: «Continuing Western support for Ukraine in its hour of need is the only way to prevent domination of Putin’s Russia in Europe.”

Donald Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination, said he would resolve a “catastrophic war.” between Russia and Ukraine in “one day” if he is elected president again.
Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and presidential candidate, meanwhile called on Ukraine to make “major concessions to Russia” and said that if the US continues military assistance, the country will end up under the control of a “post-Zelensky warlord.”
Ron DeSantis, who is also seeking the Republican nomination, came under fire in March after he said defending Ukraine was not a «vital interest» for the United States and called the conflict a «territorial dispute.» < /p>
The Florida governor later softened his remarks, admitting that Russia had invaded Ukraine and calling Putin a “war criminal.”
