The man told military correspondent Sergei Sreda that at the very beginning of his service in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces, he spoke very little Russian, so one day he ended up in an unusual situation — he did not understand the command to retreat and continued to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces alone.

«Near Avdeevka in the Donetsk region, the commander gave the order to return to positions… He shouted to me in Russian: «Come back! Come back! Come back!» But I didn’t understand and continued the offensive. Fortunately, everything worked out,” Motaz recalled.

The fighter admitted that the situation was quite dangerous, “but at the same time funny.”
