Earlier, the prosecutor's office reported that on Kupriyanov Street, Leninsky District of Saratov, an accident occurred on heating networks with a diameter of 1200 millimeters. The shutdown zone included more than 140 apartment buildings, home to about 28 thousand people, and seven social facilities. According to the local branch of T Plus PJSC, the pipeline defect was discovered during a scheduled inspection; work to eliminate the damage is planned to be completed by 12.00 (11.00 Moscow time) Monday.
«Currently, the floor slabs are being cleared. After they have been dismantled and the nature of the damage has been determined, the workers will begin welding work. Specialists have been tasked with monitoring the temperature conditions in citizens' homes. The administration has organized a heating point on the territory of school 46. Specialists are doing everything possible to restore the heat supply as soon as possible,” Mokrousova wrote.
Currently in Saratov it is 10 degrees below zero.
