ROSTOV-ON-DON, December 11 The body of a man, presumably with wounds from stray dog ​​bites, was found in the village of Prigorodny, Narimanovsky district, Astrakhan region, SUSC reports Russia by region.
“On December 10, 2023, on a site near a house under construction on Pritochnaya Street in the village of Prigorodny, the body of a local resident born in 1988 was discovered without signs of criminal death, but with lacerations and bite wounds caused by stray dogs,” the message says.

A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death of the Astrakhan resident. The death is being investigated.

This year, several cases of stray dogs attacking people have been recorded in the Astrakhan region. Thus, in March, in the Sovetsky district of Astrakhan, the body of a 53-year-old man was discovered with wounds, presumably from stray dog ​​bites. The man lived not far from the place where he was found with his disabled mother.

Later, another body with wounds from stray dog ​​bites was discovered in the parking lot of one of the houses on 1st Rozhdestvensky Passage in Astrakhan. According to the source, the deceased local resident, born in 1979, was the daughter of the director of the local branch of the Saratov State Law Academy.
