The State Duma recommended extending the Pushkin Card to large families

MOSCOW, December 11Following the results of the report of the Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova on the state of culture in the Russian Federation, the State Duma recommends that the government, among other things, extend the validity of the “Pushkin Card” to large families; the corresponding draft resolution is registered in the electronic database of the State Duma.
«To recommend to the Government of the Russian Federation… to consider the possibility of making changes to the federal project «Pushkin Card» in terms of extending its effect to large families (families with three or more children),» the text of the draft resolution says.< br />
The State Duma also believes that additional decisions require the issue of extending the implementation period of the national project “Culture” until 2030. Moreover, it is noted that the State Duma considers it necessary, when preparing the state report on the state of culture in the Russian Federation in 2023, to ensure that it includes quality target indicators, information on the progress of integration of new entities into the single cultural space of the Russian Federation and information on works of literature and art created and conducted events dedicated to a special military operation, as well as “pay attention to the need to increase the efficiency of interdepartmental interaction in the preparation of the specified state report.”

“The State Duma considers it advisable to ensure legislative regulation of book publishing and book distribution in the Russian Federation,” the draft resolution also says.
In addition, according to deputies, it is necessary to speed up the preparation of the Concept for the development of domestic cinematography for the period until 2030 and, when forming the draft federal budget for 2025 and for the planning period of 2026 and 2027, consider the issue of “developing and implementing a program to support cultural workers who have moved to work to the countryside (“Zemstvo cultural worker”).”
The Ministry of Culture is also recommended to pay special attention to improving the quality of training of professional personnel for all types of cultural activities.
“Pushkin Card” is a program for the popularization of cultural events, launched in Russia September 1, 2021. The card allows young people from 14 to 22 years old to visit theaters, museums and concert halls throughout the country.
