Novikombank completed the placement of registered issues of the bond program of Aviacapital-Service LLC using funds from the National Welfare Fund (NWF). Thus, having acted as the organizer of all five bond issues of the company totaling 175.4 billion rubles, the supporting bank of the Rostec state corporation took an active part in the implementation of a comprehensive program for the development of the aviation industry of the Russian Federation until 2030.
On December 20, 2023, Aviacapital-Service, a subsidiary of the Rostec state corporation, which specializes in aviation leasing, successfully placed the fifth final issue of a bond program with a total nominal value of 34.5 billion rubles in favor of the Russian Ministry of Finance. The coupon rate for the bond issue was set at 1.5% per annum. The maturity of the bonds is 20 years. The issue establishes a grace period for the payment of coupon income — two years.
The project for financing preferential leasing of domestic aircraft using funds from the National Welfare Fund was included in the list of self-sustaining infrastructure projects by order of the government of the Russian Federation.
The bank has been developing the functionality for organizing the attraction of financing from public debt markets in order to support landmark projects of companies included in the Rostec state corporation and other clients since 2022. Placements were organized both in the form of traditional bonds and using digital financial assets (DFAs). Among the advantages of the latter are transparency of settlements, low transaction costs, high speed of receipt, accessibility for a range of issuers and investors registered on the relevant platforms, including the SME segment.
In September 2023, Novikombank entered the top 10 organizers of the Russian bond market Cbonds. When constructing the ranking, the volumes and number of placed issues for the nine months of 2023 on the primary bond market were taken into account.
