MOSCOW, December 28 Teenagers spent about four billion rubles on the purchase of 2.8 million cinema tickets from the accounts of their Pushkin cards for 2023, the Deputy Prime Minister said RF Tatyana Golikova.
«By 2023, the figure (of money spent on movie tickets using the Pushkin Card) has already increased to four billion rubles. And, accordingly, purchased tickets have almost doubled — that’s 2.8 million tickets,» Golikova said during the summing up results of the year in the Russian film industry.
She emphasized that this provides additional support to the film industry in addition to state support through subsidies to the cinema fund and competitions of the Ministry of Culture.
«Of course, we still have friendly countries on the market, and, in general, unfriendly ones are also working. But there are film products from 60 countries, which also enjoy a certain interest of our viewers. And this movie is visited» , — added the Deputy Prime Minister.
