The starting price tag on the old world market is 19,690 euros. Dealers will accept orders in March of this year, and live sales of the crossover will begin a little later.
Duster appeared in 2010, and the second generation was introduced in 2017. The presentation of the third generation model took place recently, at the end of November 2023. Let us remind you that the new crossover debuted under the Romanian brand Dacia, and a version with a Renault diamond for this car will appear later: last month we published official photos of the future “Frenchman”.

Now Duster continues to prepare for the imminent start of sales: the company noted that in France, dealers will begin accepting orders in March 2024. In addition, the prices of the crossover in this market have become known. Thus, for the starting version Essential they ask for at least 19,690 euros, the cost of the Expression version varies from 21,600 to 26,600 euros (depending on the “filling”), the purchase of the Extreme version will cost customers 23,100 — 28,100 euros, the same “price range” also for the Journey package.
The “third” Duster is based on the CMF-B platform (the predecessor is based on the B0 “trolley”), it makes the SUV similar to the current Dacia Jogger, Logan and Sandero. As we reported earlier, the crossover has a reduced distance between the axles – 2657 mm, while its predecessor – 2673 mm (front-wheel drive)/2676 mm (all-wheel drive). The remaining dimensions remained almost the same — 4343 x 1809 x 1656 mm. The new Duster has ground clearance of 209 mm (4×2)/217 mm (4×4). The trunk volume is 472 liters.

The recently introduced SUV received an appearance based on the Dacia Bigster concept, shown at the beginning of 2021. The new Duster has a sculpted hood, massive front and rear bumpers, noticeable plastic linings on the wheel arches, as well as LED “Y” headlights, which are visually supported by the rear lights. The model was also equipped with rear side door handles hidden in the window part. The SUV is available with wheel sizes of 16, 17 and 18 inches (depending on version).
During the generation change, Duster received a completely new interior. At the same time, the basic version of the new product was equipped with analog instruments and a starting radio, and for richer versions they provided a 7-inch virtual instrument panel and an infotainment system with a 10.1-inch diagonal touchscreen. Controls for multimedia and other functions are slightly angled, “facing” the driver.
On the “old world” market, the crossover will be offered in three modifications. So, the starting one is the Duster Eco-G 100 with a bi-fuel (gasoline and propane) three-cylinder 1.0-liter turbo engine producing 100 hp, it is paired with a manual transmission. Next comes the Duster TCe 130 variant with a “mild hybrid” installation, which is based on a 130-horsepower 1.2-liter TCe petrol turbo engine, working in tandem with a 48-volt starter-generator and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Top versions of the Duster Hybrid 140 share the hybrid system with the Jogger station wagon: it includes a 94-horsepower four-cylinder 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine, a 49-horsepower electric motor, a starter-generator and a battery with a capacity of 1.2 kWh (total output is 140 liters). .s.).
Remember, all-wheel drive is provided only for the “mild hybrid” Duster (it also has a front-wheel drive version). Subsequently, the “third” Dacia Duster with this version of the “filling” should receive a robotic box as an alternative.
