Earlier on Wednesday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a fire at a polyester fiber production plant in Shakhty injured nine people. Rescuers have now completely extinguished the fire.

According to city authorities, the fire on the territory of Shakhtinsky Polyester Plant LLC was preceded by an explosion.
