Gordon condemned the persecution of Kudryavtseva after the scandal on Malakhov’s show

MOSCOW, January 30. Human rights activist and blogger Ekaterina Gordon in her Instagram story* addressed the ill-wishers who are publicly harassing her friend Lera Kudryavtseva because of the scandal caused by the TV presenter on the show “Hello, Andrey!”

"Actually, time has begun now&quot ;witch hunts. The people were shown that they can overthrow one star after another from their pedestal. […] All this suddenly woke up in us,” said Gordon.

In one of the recent episodes, Kudryavtseva poured water on a program guest named Elena, a mother of five children who had been deprived of parental rights. The celebrity was outraged that the woman abandoned one of her sons, and he grew up in a foster family.

After the release of the program, many viewers began to condemn Kudryavtseva for “inappropriate behavior” in public.
According to Ekaterina Gordon, such an aggressive reaction of ordinary people towards media figures reminds her of the times of post-revolutionary unrest and dispossession.

“Ordinary people, eating dumplings, want to dispossess this one, jail this one and punish everyone as much as possible. It's a shame!" — the human rights activist added.

Earlier in her Telegram channel, Gordon also recalled that the host of the “Secret to a Million” program is actively involved in charity work and helps abandoned children. And her action on Malakhov’s program was justified.

Kudryavtseva herself also did not apologize for splashing water on the broadcast’s guest. Instead, she responded harshly to the haters.
““It’s sad that a glass of water poured on this woman is, according to moral values, worse for you than a child abandoned in a public toilet,” the TV presenter wrote.
