Kaapo Kakko (43rd minute) and Chris Kreider (50th minute) scored goals for the Rangers. The author of the decisive shot in the shootout was Russian striker Artemy Panarin. Casey Mittelstadt (40) and Devon Toews (53) scored for Colorado.
