YEKATERINBURG, April 1 The body of a deceased worker from the Severopeschanskaya mine in the Sverdlovsk region was raised to the surface, the press service of the enterprise reports on the Telegram channel.
«The body of the deceased miner has been raised to the surface,» says a message published by the enterprise.
Earlier, the mine's press service informed that on Monday at about 17.00 Moscow time, while loading the wells with explosives, an unauthorized detonation of an explosive occurred. As a result, a rock collapse occurred. Five workers were in the mine at the time of the collapse, four of them were later handed over to doctors, the fifth miner died.
According to the latest information from the regional Ministry of Health about the condition of the four rescued miners, one of them is in serious condition , two were of moderate severity, the fourth refused hospitalization.
After the emergency, the regional department of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities. Investigators note that the body of the deceased miner will be sent for examination to establish the nature of the bodily injuries inflicted on the man and determine the exact cause of death.
As the head of the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Valery Gorelykh added to journalists, the deceased miner left two minor children, 2018 and Born in 2022, the man got a job at the company quite recently — on March 7 of this year.
