Ermak: negotiations with Russia are now absolutely impossible

At the moment, negotiations with the Russian Federation are absolutely impossible. This statement was made by the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak in an interview with Politico.

"The Russians are not interested in any negotiations… Zelensky will never agree to anything, neither to the Minsk agreements, nor to a frozen conflict . No, I’m sure of it,” — Ermak said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said that Moscow has never refused negotiations. However, now, he said, they must take place, taking into account “the conditions on the ground.” At the same time, Putin has repeatedly reminded that it is in Kyiv that they are refusing dialogue, including due to the fact that in 2022 Zelensky signed a bill prohibiting negotiations with the current Russian government.
