UFA, April 6. In Orsk, a dam in another area has been washed away, residents of the Nikel village closest to the emergency site are being evacuated, the city mayor’s office reported.
“The dam in another area has been washed away, residents of the Orsk village of Nikel are being evacuated,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

As stated by the press service of the government of the Orenburg region, now in Nikel Regional and municipal services operate. People are evacuated to temporary temporary detention centers or to relatives. They are urged to urgently leave the flooded houses for their own safety.

«12 temporary accommodation points have been organized in Orsk. <…> If necessary, the number of temporary temporary accommodation will be increased,» the department added .
A little earlier, the Orsk administration warned about the threat of flooding in the villages of Stroitel, Rabochiy, as well as Borisoglebsky and Dokuchaev streets in the village of Nikel.

President Vladimir Putin instructed the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, to urgently fly to the Orenburg region to organize all the necessary work on the spot.
