Three people were injured as a result of a gas explosion and subsequent fire in an apartment building in Tatarstan. One of the victims died.

This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to operational services, a gas explosion in an apartment building in the city of Nurlat occurred during the installation of suspended ceilings.

As a result of the explosion, the outer walls of the building were destroyed. One person was rescued from the rubble, three were evacuated. The fire engulfed four apartments on the first and second floors. The total burning area was 80 square meters. Now the open burning has been eliminated.
