
MOSCOW, April 23 In the case of Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov, who was detained on Tuesday under the article of receiving a bribe, the necessary investigative actions are being carried out, reports the RF Investigative Committee .
Earlier on Tuesday, the Russian Investigative Committee reported that Ivanov was detained on suspicion of committing a crime under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed of the detention, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was informed in advance, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
