The Bryansk court arrested the instigator who convinced the SVO soldier to surrender

MOSCOW, April 24 A court in the Bryansk region sent into custody a defendant who, in an SMS correspondence, incited a special operation fighter to voluntarily surrender, the joint unit reported press service of the regional courts of general jurisdiction.
“»The Vygonichsky District Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to the accused of inciting a serviceman to voluntarily surrender (Part 4 of Article 33, Article 352.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation),» the message says.

According to the court, at the end of May 2023, the defendant in the case, during an SMS correspondence with a serviceman of a special military operation, persuaded and convinced the soldier to voluntarily surrender to the armed forces of Ukraine.

It is clarified that the illegal activities were identified and stopped by officers of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Bryansk Region, the case is being investigated by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.
