MOSCOW, April 27 The abolition of fees for transfers between own accounts in the amount of up to 30 million rubles from May 1 will become a driver for the redistribution of citizens' savings between the products of different banks and an increase in transfer amounts, Tinkoff believes.
According to the law adopted last year, financial organizations from May 1 must make transfers via SBP and customer details between their own accounts free of charge up to 30 million rubles per month.
“»Thanks to the innovations, Russians will have the opportunity to choose those credit institutions that will be the most convenient and profitable for them,» the bank's press service reported.
According to the bank, for more than 35% of clients, it was the commission of other banks that became an obstacle to transferring funds between their accounts in different credit institutions.
«For clients, the disappearance of restrictions will open up the possibility of quickly transferring their savings to accounts in banks offering the best conditions for debit products, primarily deposits. In these conditions, market participants will have to more actively develop services and services to attract new and retain old customers, which will lead to increased competition, and therefore, ultimately, to development,” Tinkoff noted.
