ALMA-ATA, April 28 The Kazakh enterprise Kazspetsexport denied information about the sale of decommissioned aircraft to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported Sputnik Kazakhstan.
«Information distributed on the Internet, are not true,” the publication says.
The company noted that all tenders for the sale of equipment with the condition of mandatory liquidation were held in accordance with the law among legal entities of Kazakhstan, foreign companies did not participate in them.
The press service clarified that balance holders control the process of recycling aircraft, components and assemblies for them. This happens by cutting and other methods that exclude the restoration of equipment to its original condition.
Information previously appeared on social networks that an unknown person allegedly bought decommissioned military aircraft in Kazakhstan in order to transfer them to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for spare parts.
The message also says , that in October 2023 Astana put up for auction 117 decommissioned Soviet fighters and bombers.
