MOSCOW, July 1 The Nika Award in the nomination for best film music was posthumously received by composer Eduard Artemyev, who wrote the music for the film Nuremberg, the leading awards were announced «Nika».
““Thank you all very much. I hope that this music will live with us forever,” said Artemyev’s grandson, receiving the prize.
Also nominated in the nomination were Igor Vdovin, who worked on the film “The Heart of Parma”, Yuri Poteenko, who wrote the music for the detective story “Khitrovka. The Sign of Four” and Vasily Tonkovidov for his work on the drama “The Righteous”.
National Cinematography Award «Nika» was established in 1987 by the secretariat of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR. The winners are determined by secret ballot of members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and receive a prize-figurine of the winged ancient Greek goddess Nike.
