ST. PETERSBURG, July 14. Two people were detained on suspicion of attacking a 17-year-old St. Petersburg man, who, under the pretext of returning a 5 thousand ruble debt, was deprived of a watch worth 10 times more expensive, threatened with batons and intimidated by shooting from a pneumatic gun, the press service of the regional regional police department reported. As the department reports, on Friday evening a local resident contacted the police to report that in the village of Shushary his 17-year-old son’s watch had been taken away and he had also been shot at.
“»It was established that near the house on Rostovskaya Street in Shushary, he got into a Mercedes-Benz G 500 car, in which there were people unfamiliar to him. (They) under the pretext of repaying a debt of 5 thousand rubles, took away his wristband a watch worth 50 thousand rubles. Then, on the Yam-Izhorskoe highway, they dropped the young man off, threatened him with telescopic batons, shot him with an air pistol, and then took him back to Rostovskaya Street,” the police said.
A criminal case was initiated under the article of robbery.
According to the GUMVD, a 22-year-old native of Dagestan and a 19-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, who allegedly attacked the young man, were detained on Saturday in the village of Villozi. The suspects were detained procedurally.
