MOSCOW, August 6 American actor Charles Cyphers died at the age of 85 in Arizona. He is known for his roles in the horror films of the «Halloween» franchise, the action film «Escape from New York,» as well as in the TV series «Santa Barbara,» Variety magazine reported, citing the actor's manager.
«Charles Cyphers, known for his role as Sheriff Leigh Brackett in the Halloween film series, died after a short illness on Sunday in Tucson, Arizona… He was 85 years old,» the publication writes, citing the actor's manager Chris Roe.
