The Japanese brand's model was equipped with a modified central console with larger cup holders and a differently located niche for wireless charging of smartphones.
The current third-generation Acura RDX SUV debuted in 2018, and this model underwent an update in the fall of 2021. The main market for this brand is the United States, while last year, RDX sales increased significantly: according to Goodcarbadcar.net, Americans bought 39,228 units by the end of 2023, which is 58.5% more than a year earlier.

Now the Japanese manufacturer has updated the Acura RDX once again: the refreshed SUV was assigned the 2025 model year. This crossover has several visual differences, the most noticeable of which is the new radiator grille, which has retained its pentagonal shape, but has received a different pattern — in the form of a grid, where the lines form large diamonds (the pre-reform version had voluminous diamonds that diverge to the sides from the brand logo).
The list of external changes also includes new black 19-inch wheels of an original design (they are included in the base versions, as is the glossy black decor), as well as – for the A-Spec version – two-tone 10-spoke “rollers” measuring 20 inches. The body color palette has also been expanded with several new options – Solar Silver, Canyon River Blue and Urban Gray Pearl.

During the update, the Acura RDX also revised the interior. In particular, the model received a modified center console with larger cup holders and a differently (more conveniently) located niche for wireless charging of smartphones. In addition, users with activated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have access to a widescreen 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Those who choose the refreshed Acura RDX in the Advance or A-Spec versions with the Advance package will get leather upholstery, lighting of the refreshed center console, as well as additional lighting of the speakers located in the front and rear of the cabin.

The model's technology was not touched during the update. The crossover is equipped with an in-line gasoline 2.0-liter turbo four, the output of which is 276 hp. As before, this engine is paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. The model still has the Super Handling AWD all-wheel drive system (with individual rear wheel couplings).
Production of the refreshed Acura RDX crossover is set up at the East Liberty Auto plant in Ohio (USA), where the Acura MDX is currently produced. Prices for the updated SUV will be announced later. The pre-reform version of the 2024 model year in the USA can be purchased for $44,350 — 54,150 (equivalent to approximately 3.8 — 4.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
