The world premiere of the current sixteenth generation Toyota Crown took place last summer. At the same time, the company announced that the model would again become a separate family, and this family would be global, while the previous Crown was produced only as a sedan, addressed mainly to Japan.

As part of last year's premiere, Toyota only spoke about a «four-door» with a «crossover» image, such a car is already available in the brand's homeland (where it bears the «surname» Crossover), in North America and China (in China, Crown is generally a separate brand). ). The rest of the lineup members were previously only exposed to the public. Now the brand has shared some details about the upcoming cars: the Crown Sport crossover, the classic Crown Sedan and the Crown Estate station wagon are preparing for the market debut. The new Crown Sedan is available with either 19-inch or 20-inch wheels.
