It looks like two of the biggest names in music are working together.
But the latest song to take Spotify and social media by storm was generated by artificial intelligence with using machine learning software to clone artists' voices, a development that has caused alarm in the music industry.
Heart On My Sleeve featuring the voices of platinum selling artists Drake and The Weeknd. , has amassed over 20 million views and plays on TikTok, Twitter and Spotify.
This is not the first song to experiment with technology. There is a version of the Adele song Easy On Me purportedly performed by Kanye West, while Rihanna's voice was copied into a Beyoncé cover.
However, Heart On My Sleeve is the most successful. still and with sound as close to real as possible.
In the latest example of AI's ability to mimic real life, Drake and The Weeknd appear to be exchanging texts about pop star and actress Selena Gomez, who was previously dated.

Its release follows attempts by Universal Music Group, which includes both Drake and The Weeknd, to convince streaming platforms to limit the use of AI-generated music.

Music is the newest art form that suffered from a new craze for AI-generated content, described as «deep fakes».
An official from the European Commission said that the control of digital recreations of famous artists was «difficult and requires constant monitoring.»
