We know the dimensions thanks to the «drain» of the Chinese Ministry of Industry, which happened just a few days before the opening of the exhibition. The length of the Tank 400 is 4985 mm (apparently, excluding the spare wheel), the width is 1960 mm, the height is 1905 mm, and the wheelbase is 2850 mm. Thus, despite the lower index, the “400” SUV surpassed the Tank 500 SUV in the first two indicators. br />
In the interior of the Tank 400 there is a 9-inch virtual tidy (the forerunner had “wells” in the tidy), a multimedia system with a 16.2-inch touchscreen and a massive central tunnel. The side air deflectors were made round. A head-up display, all-round cameras, a regular or panoramic sunroof, and retractable steps are also announced for the model. The Tank 400 is available exclusively with five seats.

The production SUV debuted as a plug-in all-wheel drive hybrid with a Hi4-T setup based on a 2.0 petrol turbo engine. The total output of such a Tank 400 is 408 hp. and 750 Nm, the car allegedly picks up the first “hundred” in 6.9 seconds. Meanwhile, in the documents of the certification body, a simpler version was also indicated — with a 252-horsepower 2.0 turbo engine (it is possible that this option will be supplemented with a 48-volt makeweight).
In China, sales of the «400» should start this year. By the way, another model will soon join the brand's local range — the new flagship Tank 700. Probably, later both new all-terrain vehicles will reach Russia.
