In our market, the luxury electric four-door will be available in two versions.
The Voyah premium brand appeared in the portfolio of the “celestial” Dongfeng concern in 2020, exclusively electrified models are produced under it. The brand entered the Russian market at the end of last year, the official importer is Motorinvest, which launched the production of Chinese electric trains under its own brand Evolute in the Lipetsk region. At the same time, local assembly of the “premium” is not planned; cars are delivered to the Russian Federation directly from China. We have already presented the Voyah Free crossover and the Voyah Dream minivan (at home it is called the Dreamer), and now in Russia they have opened pre-orders for the third model, the Voyah Passion electric sedan.

Note that Passion is an export name (“passion” in translation) , in the home market, the car is known as Zhuiguang (aka Chasing Light, which means «in pursuit of light»). By the way, in China, sales of the sedan began just the other day: the launch was announced as part of the Shanghai Motor Show. p>Like the rest of the Voyah models, the four-door is built on the ESSA (Electric Smart Secure Architecture) platform. Length Voyah Passion is 5088 mm, width — 1970 mm, height — 1505 or 1515 mm (depending on version), wheelbase — 3000 mm. The passport ground clearance of the model for China is 121 or 124 mm (it is not yet known whether adaptation was carried out for the Russian Federation). Trunk volume — 410 liters, in front there is an additional compartment with a volume of 53 liters.

In Russia, two versions of Voyah Passion will be sold, they are generally the same as in their homeland. The sedan is equipped with two electric motors (that is, it is all-wheel drive by default), which together give out 510 hp. and 730 Nm. The base version has a battery with a capacity of 82 kWh, it should be enough for 483 km of travel (according to the WLTP cycle). The more expensive version has a 109 kWh battery, a power reserve of 608 km. A sedan with a base battery accelerates to “hundreds” in 3.8 seconds, the second option in 4.2 seconds. The maximum speed is 210 km/h.

The composition of the equipment and prices for Russia have not yet been announced, they will be revealed closer to the launch date «live» sales (most likely, this will happen in the spring and summer). In China, the list of standard equipment includes a three-screen display, a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control and a lane keeping system. The top versions are equipped with air suspension, matrix headlights, seats with a massager and a “memory” function. At home, the Voyah electric sedan costs about $46,700.
Recall that the Voyah Free crossover and the Dream minivan in the Russian Federation is presented in the form of hybrids, the cross also has a fully electric version. According to the price list, the SUV today costs from 7,490,000 rubles, the van, judging by the official website of the brand, is offered in the only top-end Executive configuration for 9,290,000 rubles.
