The son of a Brit detained by paramilitaries in Sudan pleaded for his release and said his father urgently needed access to diabetes medication.

The RSF is led by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, commonly known as Hemedti, who has been fighting General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the head of the army, for control of Sudan since April 15.
