The total revenue of the three sites in 2022 amounted to 157.6 billion rubles, four times less than in 2021 (then the revenue was 639.2 billion rubles, and the total profit was — 36 billion rubles).
Specifically, the Toyota plant recorded a record loss in the Russian auto industry for 2022 — over 32 billion rubles.
The second largest loss according to RAS in the Russian auto industry was reflected by the Hyundai plant. Its size approached 19 billion rubles.
At the Nissan site, the net loss amounted to just over 6 billion rubles.
Let's recall the fate of the assets.
At the end of November 2022, the Nissan Automobile Plant was transferred to the state institute FSUE NAMI, which at the beginning of the year transferred the site to AVTOVAZ. Until the end of May, the Nissan plant will resume car production.
The Toyota site was closed in September 2022, in March it was sold to the FSUE NAMI institute.
Hyundai Motor still owns its Russian car plant.
All these sites stopped car production in the spring of 2022 — due to anti-Russian sanctions.
