Harry Kane is ready to consider a Tottenham deal as an option as interest in the England captain intensifies this summer.
Kane has a season left for him current contract with the Spurs and the approach of his final year will put pressure on chairman Daniel Levy to decide whether to accept offers this summer. The 29-year-old will be able to talk to clubs about a pre-contract in January if he wants to switch to a free transfer in the summer of 2024.
With one month left of the current campaign, clubs usually want the future of their important players with expiring contracts to be decided, but an extension agreement has not been reached.
Doubts are growing within the Spurs that Kane will sign a new contract, the Telegraph Sport reported this week. Kane is believed to be considering all options, including canceling his last 12 months at the club, where he played for 10 years and scored 274 goals.

Kane said he had an «honest conversation» with Levy about how to revive the club season, and also confirmed that he heard United fans singing his name on Thursday night.
“I think it was important [for Levy] to understand where the heads of the players were at that moment,” Kane said. «It was an honest conversation about where everyone is and what we need to try to do to give us the best chance of finishing the season with something.
«We're still in contention for fourth, but if not fourth , we will try to finish fifth or sixth — as high as possible.
“The competition in this league is so intense that you could easily end up in eighth or ninth place if you're not careful. That's what it was like to give us a better chance and I'm glad we reacted that way.
«I heard what they said [United fans] but I'm just focused on this team and trying to finish strong» .
Known for being a tough negotiator, Levy is expected to maximize the fee for the player who resisted selling him to Manchester City two years ago, when Kane made it clear he wanted to leave during an interview with Gary Neville .
