Manchester United are still in talks with Wout Weghorst, who will stay at Old Trafford this summer when his loan at Burnley expires.
United bought a season contract from Besiktas in January as Erik ten Hag wanted to cover for a striker and then started with his fellow Dutchman in 19 games in a row when a deal worth more than £2.5 million.
Weghorst, 30, has made it clear he wants to join United and is considering staying after the current campaign, scoring goals against Nottingham Forest and Real Betis.Ten Hag insisted over the weekend that he needed No. 9 in the summer when he lost Cristiano Ronaldo midway through the season and Anthony Martial struggled with injury, leaving him dependent on Marcus Rashford's goals.
