Livan Auto (aka Ruilan Auto) is a former Lifan company that went bankrupt last year after a long financial crisis and now half belongs to the Geely holding, the other half is owned by the government of China. The other day, without any official announcement, the Russian Livan website was launched, three models are announced on it, sales, apparently, will begin in the coming months.
In China, the presentation of the Livan brand took place last summer, it was announced that the new brand would produce electric vehicles with replaceable batteries, six new models were promised within three years, two of them have already been presented — these are the Livan 7 and Livan 9 crossovers. However, “Electric trains” are a prospect, but so far the Livan lineup has been promptly saturated with “hydrocarbon” clones of not the freshest Geely models, they will go to storm the Russian market. Even the Livan 9, presented as a completely new model, turned out to be an electric conversion of the Geely HaoYue gasoline crossover, and with a simplified rear suspension. In short, Livan is Geely cheaper.
Livan X3 Pro
Livan's distributor in Russia is Livan Motors Rus LLC, on the Russian-language website of the brand and on the websites of its dealers (their already dozens across the country) three models are presented — X3 Pro, S6 Pro and X6 Pro.
Livan X3 Pro
The Livan X3 Pro subcompact front-wheel drive crossover is a clone of the Geely Vision X3, whose roots go back to the beginning of the last decade. Overall length X3 Pro — 4005 mm, width — 1760 mm, height — 1575 mm, wheelbase — 2480 mm, ground clearance — 185 mm. Front suspension — McPherson type, rear — semi-independent with a transverse torsion beam, brakes — disc «in a circle». Under the hood is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol (103 hp, 142 Nm) paired with a CVT. Curb weight — 1290 kg, trunk volume — 400 l.

The Livan X3 Pro is equipped for the Russian market with two frontal airbags, ESC (stabilization system), air conditioning, cruise control, steering wheel height adjustment, heated front seats and mirrors, an 8-inch multimedia system, an audio system with six speakers, two USB ports, built-in DVR, halogen headlights, power sunroof, roof rails and 16-inch alloy wheels. The price has not yet been announced. Warranty — 5 years or 150,000 km.
Livan S6 Pro and Livan X6 Pro are not yet presented even in China itself, so there is little information about them.
Geely Emgrand L
Livan S6 Pro is a clone of the Geely Emgrand L compact sedan that debuted at the end of 2021 (overall length — 4735 mm, wheelbase — 2700 mm), which in turn is the result of a deep restyling of the Emgrand GL model of 2016.

Geely Vision X6 Pro
Livan X6 Pro is a clone of Geely Vision X6 Pro compact crossover (overall length is 4518 mm , wheelbase — 2661 mm), which in pre-styling form was previously sold in Russia as the Geely Emgrand X7, but in general this model was originally called the Geely GX7 — it debuted in 2012 and then resembled the third-generation Toyota RAV4 with its design.

Livan S6 Pro and Livan X6 Pro
In terms of design, Livan S6 Pro and Livan X6 Pro will be noticeably different from the original Geely models, in Russia they will be offered with gasoline engines and very rich equipment, so it won’t be cheap, but in general, Livan models should be more affordable for Russians than the “original” Geely.
