The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max cross became the first Chinese novelty in Russia this year: it entered the SUV market in January. Previously, the model with a double “surname” was available exclusively in two rich trim levels – Prestige and Ultimate. Now, the local division of the brand has announced the start of sales of another version, the cheapest, it was called Elite. But first, let's recall the SUV itself.

Max is a modernized version of the Tiggo 7 Pro: in its native China, such a crossover debuted in 2021, where it was assigned the Plus prefix (by the way, last year the Celestial Plus managed to survive restyling, while the pre-reform SUV is still in service) . External differences Tiggo 7 Pro Max – the original grille with a massive edging and “outgrowths” supporting the headlights, a different front bumper with vertical running lights. The dimensions of the model for the Russian Federation have not changed: length – 4500 mm, wheelbase – 2670 mm. Passport ground clearance – all the same 190 mm. In the interior of the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, a scoreboard and a new steering wheel were installed, the front panel was also redesigned, but the climate control touch control unit switched from the Pro version (in China, the Tiggo 7 Plus has a different one, with washers).

In Russia, Max today is offered with the old petrol “turbo” 1.5 (147 hp), the engine is combined with a CVT. Front wheel drive only.
Well, now about the new “base”, which, we note, is not at all poor. The arsenal of the Elite version includes: 18-inch wheels, LED optics, rear parking sensors, “leather” upholstery, heated windshield and steering wheel, heated all seats, four airbags, the same scoreboard (combined virtual tidy and touchscreen multimedia systems, each with a diagonal of 12.3 inches), a rear-view camera, dual-zone climate control, a keyless entry system and an engine start button, an electric tailgate, remote engine start and interior warm-up systems.
The next most senior version of the Prestige includes atmospheric lighting, a panoramic sunroof, front parking sensors, all-round cameras, curtain airbags, an extended package of electric seat adjustments and wireless charging for a smartphone. The top-end Ultimate package also includes a navigator, adaptive cruise control, auto-braking systems, blind spot monitoring, lane change assistance.

Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max Elite price – 2,759,900 rubles (hereinafter – excluding special offers), today they are asking for 2,889,900 rubles for the Prestige version, the Ultimate version will cost 3,039,900 rubles . The former Tiggo 7 Pro is still present on the Russian market, it costs from 2,709,900 rubles.
Meanwhile, Chery promised to bring a hybrid “seven” to the Russian Federation: the Tiggo 7 Pro e + cross should appear autumn of this year. And the “traditional” SUV, however, so far, according to unofficial data, will soon receive all-wheel drive (possibly, together with a 1.6 turbo engine – like the Omoda C5 AWD and Exeed LX AWD).
