Toyota teases fresh Tacoma teasers, although the appearance of the new pickup truck is no longer a secret

The Japanese company today set the date for the presentation of the next generation truck — it will be shown in a couple of weeks, on May 19.

Toyota has been producing the Tacoma since 1995, with the current third-generation pickup truck introduced in 2015 and restyled in 2020. Now the Japanese company continues to prepare for the forthcoming presentation of the fourth generation Tacoma. According to the company, the premiere of the new Toyota Tacoma will take place in a couple of weeks, on May 19. So far, the manufacturer continues to tease fans of the model with a new batch of teasers: they depict the silhouette of the future car in profile, moreover, in different modifications and on a different color background. So, you can determine that the model will have versions with a different wheelbase, as well as with several cab options. />

Let's note that the appearance of the fourth generation Toyota Tacoma ceased to be a secret at the end of January of this year: then patent images of the novelty appeared on the Web. Judging by them, the novelty will receive a design in the style of the “older” model — Tundra, the presentation of this pickup truck took place in the fall of 2021.

It is assumed that the new Tacoma was equipped with a branded grille with a pattern in the form of horizontally elongated cells and a wide strip that runs through the entire width of the “grill”, and in its center is the logo of the Japanese brand. In addition, the next generation Toyota Tacoma received side air intakes under each headlight and rectangular horizontal fog lights integrated into the massive lower part of the front bumper with a large central air intake.

It is expected that the next generation Tacoma will boast embossed stampings on the sidewalls, as well as brutal «square» extended arches made of unpainted plastic with additional air ducts. He also has black rims with a silver trim. At the stern, attention is drawn to the vertically arranged “C-shaped” lights, by the way, their design also refers to the Tundra. There is an opening section in the rear window of the cab.

It is known that the next truck will be based on the TNGA-F platform, on which the current Tundra is also based. It is possible that the new Toyota Tacoma will be slightly larger than the current one.
