There is a possibility that another Chinese crossover, the FAW Bestune T55, will be released under the Lada brand. As in other similar cases, the matter will probably be limited to just changing the nameplates, but we decided to imagine how this car might look in the style of the latest models of the Russian automaker.
The first such Chinese model to try on Russian emblems was the Moskvich 3 crossover, the official premiere of which took place at the end of last year. Last month, he was accompanied by the FAW Bestune T77, which turned into the Lada X-Cross 5. Now there are rumors that the junior crossover Bestune T55 may be added to the “five” in the future. What would it look like if they still decided to restyle it to fit the modern Lada model range?

The main design element of the new Lada models is, of course, the characteristic front end with X-shaped chrome moldings. It can fit well into the body of the Bestune T55 SUV, while the headlights remain original, since the development of a new design front optics would be completely off-budget. But the outer body panels could well be updated due to curved stampings on the wings and doors. The back of the Chinese crossover is quite concise and does not require significant intervention, except that a new bumper with a silver lining in the style of the front is asked here. In addition, the SUV shown in the renders received new discs in the Lada brand design.

FAW Bestune T55 has been produced since 2021, it has very compact dimensions: length – 4437 mm, width – 1850 mm, height – 1625 mm. The distance between the axles is 2650 mm. According to these indicators, the crossover is very close to one of the most popular models on the Russian market – Haval Jolion. By the way, Russian sales of the T55 began just the other day.

The crossover is available with a petrol “turbo four » with a volume of 1.5 liters with a capacity of 160 hp. paired with a 7-speed “robot”. The basic equipment Beyond is estimated at 2,289,000 rubles, the richer Transcend – 2,372,000 rubles. All versions are exclusively front-wheel drive.
