The brand has not yet talked about the technology of our version, but, most likely, as in other export markets, the model will be available with 1.5 liter turbo engine.
The Russian line of the Chinese brand Changan is rapidly expanding: in winter, we started official sales of the Uni-V liftback and the CS85 coupe SUV, in April the large CS95 crossover entered the market, and last week the company announced two sedans (their names have not yet been disclosed). And now another premiere is coming – it will be another cross. As in the case of the “four-door”, its name is not announced, on the local consumer site of the brand “hangs” only a silhouette with the promise “Soon”. However, the car is easy to identify – the Changan Uni-T SUV is being prepared for the start of sales. By the way, the Tashka is already present in the Russian Federation, but we are talking about cars imported under the parallel import scheme.
< p>Recall that Changan Uni-T debuted in 2020, it became the first model of the Uni line (in addition to the “tashka” and the aforementioned liftback, it also includes the Uni-K crossover, it is also presented in Russia). In its native China, the SUV has just been restyled, but it is likely that a pre-reform model will be brought to us.

Be that as it may, the Uni-T format is close to the Omoda C5: it is an SUV with a spectacular appearance, which is mainly aimed at a youth audience. At the same time, in terms of dimensions (except for height), the Changan model is superior to Omoda. The length of the pre-styling Uni-T is 4515 mm, width – 1870 mm, height – 1565 mm, wheelbase – 2710 mm. The dimensions of our version of Omoda C5: 4400/1830/1588 mm, the distance between the axles is 2630 mm.

For export, Changan Uni-T is now mainly supplied with a 1.5 petrol “turbo four” (177 hp) and a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. Probably, we will sell a model with similar technology, although the turbo engine can be “strangled”. Meanwhile, some Russian dealers can find “parallel” cars with a 2.0 turbo engine (232 hp) and 8AKP, but even in China, such an engine was retired after restyling. The drive is in any case only front (unlike the same Omoda C5).

Depending on the configuration, the Uni-T is provided with a combined virtual tidy and touchscreen multimedia system, climate control, all-round cameras, panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control.
Officially, a new crossover for our market should be presented in the near future. Obviously, Changan Uni-T will be cheaper than the larger Uni-K. The latter, according to the price list today, costs from 3,479,900 to 3,899,900 rubles (excluding shares; 2.0T, 8AKP, front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive).
