The premium brand SUV will be presented in June. But there is no exact date for the premiere of Toyota's related new all-terrain vehicle.
Lexus has shared the first teasers of the fresh GX SUV. The model is declared “completely new” (all-new), so we are talking about the long-awaited third generation. The American office of the brand said that the all-terrain vehicle would open “soon”, but the European division indicated a specific date – June 9th. By the way, the announcement from the “old-world” branch may indicate that Lexus decided to expand the geography of sales of its SUV, because the predecessor mainly lives in the States, the Middle East and Asia. Well, let us recall that the frame Lexus GX of the outgoing generation has been in service since 2009, the appearance was last changed in 2019, and two years later the interior was redone.

Judging by the pictures , the new all-terrain vehicle will have a more aggressive exterior design. The model will get a hood with a “notch”, the headlights will become narrower, and the taillights will be united, apparently, by a functional red plate. The interior has yet to be exposed, though the next GX is likely to keep the multimedia system display towering above the front panel.
Information about the filling of the third generation model has not yet been declassified. According to unofficial data, the Lexus GX will retain the frame and share the platform with the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX (to be more precise, we are talking about a shortened version of the GA-F “trolley” created as part of Toyota's TNGA architecture). Also, the model can get hybrid versions. The current GX is introduced with a naturally aspirated V8 4.6 petrol (305 hp on the US version) and a six-speed automatic, the model has permanent four-wheel drive.

Following the all-terrain vehicle Lexus, the related Toyota Land Cruiser Prado should also go to the new generation, that is, the “third” GX will hint at what the Toyota model will turn out to be.
Meanwhile, the Japanese premium brand will soon reveal another novelty: the day before, a teaser of the large Lexus TX crossover (this is the brother of the Toyota Grand Highlander) was published, and today the designer Kolesa.ru presented his vision of how this SUV could turn out.
