KAMManufaktur from Budapest has completely declassified the KAMM 912c restomod based on the classic Porsche 912. The original style of the mid-60s sports car has been carefully preserved, but the technical stuffing is completely new.
There are quite a lot of cool restomods based on the classic Porsche 911 on the market today, but the Porsche 912 turned out to be undeservedly forgotten by wealthy fans of autoexotics. The Porsche 912 was born in 1965 as a more affordable, budget version of the Porsche 911 with a 90-horsepower 1.6-liter 4-cylinder boxer from the Porsche 356. In fact, the Porsche 912 became the replacement for the Porsche 356 and marked the appearance in the Porsche lineup. the youngest family of sports cars – today this niche is occupied by the Porsche 718.

With the help of the Porsche 912, a group of Hungarian restorers from KAMManufaktur decided to occupy their niche in the segment of high-tech restomoding and, thanks to the high quality of work, has already gained recognition among connoisseurs of this genre. For the manufacture of restomod, a donor Porsche 912 is required, from which a restored and reinforced body frame, as well as part of the outer panels, are used. At the request of the client, the entire outer skin can be made of carbon fiber. The windows are made of Lexan polycarbonate. The curb weight of the KAMM 912c is only 750 kg.
The engine for the KAMM 912c is supplied by the Swiss company JPS Aircooled, which produces replicas of classic Porsche engines. In this case, we are talking about a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder air-cooled JPS 616 boxer. KAMManufaktur equips it with its own electronic fuel injection system, stainless steel or titanium exhaust system and carbon fiber cooling jacket. Maximum return – 190 hp and 228 Nm, maximum speed – 7200 rpm. All power is sent to the rear wheels via a modified Porsche 5-speed manual transmission and a ZF limited-slip differential.
Suspension and steering have been upgraded: TracTive adjustable adaptive shock absorbers, AP Racing ventilated disc brakes and a hydraulic handbrake have been installed. Choose from a choice of classic design cast wheels (15″ or 16″) paired with Yokohama tires (road or track semi-slick).

For In the KAMM 912c cabin, you can choose between comfortable or sports seats on a carbon fiber frame. Extensive use of carbon fiber with a classic checkered pattern is featured throughout, and standard equipment also includes a floor-mounted racing pedal assembly, a carbon fiber shifter, state-of-the-art electronic air conditioning, and a hidden high-end audio system with subwoofer that connects via Bluetooth.

The minimum price of KAMM 912c is 360,000 euros (the cost of the donor car is included), the Hungarian company has only two free slots for assembly this year.
