The recommended retail price of a Chinese brand hybrid SUV is 4,799,900 rubles.
Chery representative office in Russia announced the appearance on the local market of the Tiggo 8 Pro e + crossover in December 2022, and the name was made public in early March of this year. It is worth recalling that in China the same model is sold under the name Tiggo 8 Plus Kunpeng e +. A couple of weeks ago, it became known that Russian dealers of the brand began to collect pre-orders, and now live sales of the hybrid SUV have begun.

As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + received a hybrid power plant, which is based on a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine. Its return is 147 hp, and the maximum torque is 210 Nm. It works in tandem with two electric motors that produce an additional 88 hp within 30 minutes. The total power of this system is 235 hp, the kit offers a three-speed automatic transmission DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission), which was developed by Chery specifically for petrol-electric cars.
According to previous tests, the maximum mileage with a full gas tank and a fully charged battery when driving in highway mode is 1000 km. When driving in purely electric mode, the range of the rechargeable hybrid crossover is enough for 75 km of travel (when calculated according to the NEDC cycle). The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e+ hybrid crossover takes 7.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, and its top speed is limited to 180 km/h.
The seven-seat crossover Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + is presented on the Russian market only in the top-end configuration – Ultimate. The equipment of the car includes anatomical seats with various adjustments, heating and ventilation. On the front panel there are a pair of dual displays with a diagonal of 12.3 inches each: one of them is a virtual “dashboard”, the second is a touchscreen of the infotainment system (it also displays data from the surround view system, which is activated automatically when speeds below 20 km/h).
In front of the center console of the Tiggo 8 Pro e + there is another touch screen with which you can control the dual-zone climate control, heating and ventilation of the front seats. In addition, the list of equipment includes an eight-speaker Sony sound system, a panoramic roof, 18-inch aluminum wheels, front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, a complete “winter package” and much more.
According to the price list on the official website of the brand in Russia, the recommended retail price of the hybrid crossover is 4,799,900 rubles (taking into account the benefits of marketing programs, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + can be bought for 3,919,900 rubles). By the way, the Russian office reminded that those who make a purchase before the end of June 2023 will be offered a home wall-mounted charging station and a certificate for its installation as a gift. It allows you to fully charge the hybrid battery in 2.5 hours, which is about 70% faster than from a conventional outlet.
