The Russian automaker is preparing a new generation of the popular Granta model, and we have previously done renderings of the future sedan. In addition to it, an all-terrain station wagon will also appear in the range. Using the available information, we decided to imagine what it will look like.
The Grant family dates back to 2011, when a budget sedan based on the Kalina model appeared. In 2018, both families were merged into one with the name Granta, since then, a station wagon and its cross version have also been produced under this name. The model is preparing for the long-awaited change of generations, and at least a sedan and a cross-station wagon will appear in the new generation, computer images of fragments of the body of the last of them were previously published on the Web.

Up to the B-pillar, the station wagon body will be identical to the sedan, the renderings of which we recently published. The all-terrain version in front will be distinguished by the original grille with hexagonal honeycombs in the style of the restyled Vesta and a new bumper with round foglights. Of course, a body kit made of unpainted plastic will be made around the perimeter of the body. On the side, the Grant station wagon can be recognized by the ascending window sill line in the rear, as well as by the characteristic curved connector of the trunk lid and bumper. The headlights are similar to those that the sedan will receive, but they will still have the original shape with bevelled outer edges. Most of the rear bumper will be occupied by a massive plastic overlay.

It is expected that the new generation Granta will be built on the CMF-B platform, inherited from the concern Renault-Nissan. There is no confirmed information about the engine range yet. The current Grant, until recently, was equipped with gasoline “atmospherics” with a volume of 1.6 liters and a power of 90, 98 or 106 hp. The premiere of the new generation Grants is expected next year.
