The SUV with a weaker turbo engine will be available in two trim levels, orders will be accepted soon.
The Geely Tugella coupe-shaped crossover on the CMA platform (developed by the Chinese together with Volvo) launched in Russia in 2020, and last year a restyled five-door reached us. The SUV has so far been offered only with the top-end 238-horsepower petrol “turbo-four” 2.0, although the model was initially certified with two variants of this engine. But just now, the local Geely office has decided that the time for a less powerful version has finally come.
So, in Russia officially announced a cross-coupe with a 200-horsepower 2.0 turbo engine, while the older engine will remain in service. The maximum torque is the same for both options – 350 Nm. The new modification will be presented with all-wheel drive (and, apparently, with the Aisin eight-speed automatic; the 238-horsepower Tugella today is exclusively all-wheel drive, the box is the same). It is stated that from zero to “hundreds” a crossover with a 200 hp engine. accelerates in 7.4 seconds, while the “coupe” with a more powerful engine will do this exercise in 6.9 seconds. – Luxury and Flagship. Their composition has not yet been disclosed, however, the 238-horsepower Tugella also has such (plus the Flagship Sport), so the list of standard equipment will most likely include LED optics, virtual tidy, climate control, heated seats, cruise control and cameras all-round view.

Prices not yet announced. Geely Tugella with 238 hp engine. today costs 3,999,990 – 4,329,990 rubles (2023 model year, excluding shares). Dealers are already preparing to accept orders for SUVs with a “strangled” engine.
