League Two club Wrexham get a taste of Hollywood with their latest sponsorship deal courtesy of famed actress Blake Lively, wife of co-owner Ryan Reynolds.

The Welsh club have gained worldwide recognition following their takeover Reynolds and fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney, while their Netflix documentary follows them around the world following their £1.8m takeover in 2021.

New fans have received a dramatic boost this year from the National League , as Wrexham secured promotion and a place in League Two for the first time in 15 years, and the co-owners used their fame and fortune to boost the title's visibility. chase.

Their presence helped land a sponsorship deal with social media platform TikTok, and other recent commercial deals have included Expedia.

But the club's statement on Wednesday confirmed the identity of its new training jersey partner Betty Buzz, a soft drink company owned by Lively.

A new 5,000-seat grandstand is under construction to increase the capacity of the club racetrack. With approval from local authorities down to 15,000, the venue is set to host Kings Of Leon this summer to help generate additional revenue ahead of the new campaign.
