    Nicola Sturgeon: Now I dream of writing a novel

    Former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said it is now her dream to write a novel after leaving office in March.

    Ms Sturgeon appeared at an event with comedian Janey Godley as part of the Aye Book Festival Write at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on Friday, where she revealed that it "now" dreams of writing a novel.

    She told the audience, “I'm so jealous that you (Janey Godley) wrote a novel.”

    "Now I dream of writing a novel. , but I will never do it.

    The event was about Godley's novel Nothing Said, set in Shetleston and set in the summer of 1976.

    Godley jokingly told her : “You will have a lot of material.”

    To which Ms. Sturgeon said: &#34 ;Most of them probably apply to action!"

    The former SNP leader, who stepped down in March after eight years in office, hinted that she may be working on a memoir about her tenure.

    She also admitted that she had ” tough period.” time" over the past few weeks as the police investigation into the SNP's finances intensified.

    She said, “I'm no stranger to stress in my life.”

    "Perhaps in the last few weeks there were days when I thought I was having a hard time."

    She changed her mind about making them during the Covid pandemic due to the impact of the virus on people, but it was her daughter Ashley Storri. urged her to keep doing them.

    "But when they took off, people told me they were very funny"

    Ms. Sturgeon said, “You used to say two things in them, namely, “My legs were killing me.”
