The four-door will go on sale in three trim levels, while the hatchback has two. The technology is the same for the whole family.
The world premiere of the fresh five-door and Chevrolet Aveo sedan took place last spring: they are only presented in Mexico so far, the hatch started there in the spring. Now, the local division of General Motors has announced prices and equipment for the four-door version. Recall that as a new generation Aveo, the company is positioning cars developed together with its longtime Chinese partner, SAIC. Production has been established in the Celestial Empire. By the way, the hatchback was previously lit up there under the local brand Wuling (part of the joint venture of the American and Chinese concerns), but the state employee has not yet appeared in the gamut of this brand. But back to Aveo.

In front, the “four-door” almost completely copied the five-door modification, but the rear bumper is original. In addition, there are additional windows in the rear roof pillars of the Aveo sedan, plus a chrome plate flaunts on the trunk lid. The length of the four-door Chevy is 4490 mm versus 4170 mm for the hatchback, the rest of the dimensions are the same: width — 1695 mm, height — 1490 mm, wheelbase — 2550 mm. The declared trunk volume of the sedan is 475 liters (for the hatch — 304 liters). Inside the car they repeat each other.
The engine is also one for two — the new Chevrolet Aveo is equipped with a 1.5 petrol four-cylinder «aspirated» that produces 98 hp. and 142 Nm. The initial versions received a six-speed “mechanics”, the top versions got a variator. The drive, of course, is only front.

In Mexico, the sedan is available in three trim levels — LS, LT and LT Plus. The “five-door” has a similar line, but unlike the four-door Aveo, there is no cheapest hatch in free sale — it is offered only to corporate buyers. Be that as it may, all Aveos have six airbags, disc brakes, ABS, an 8-inch multimedia system and a rear-view camera by default. The top-of-the-line Aveo LT Plus adds two-tone 15-inch wheels, climate control and an additional USB port for rear riders. Neither fashionable now virtual tidy, nor LED headlights are provided for the model even for a surcharge (only running lights were made diode).

A new Chevrolet Aveo sedan costs around $16,000 to $19,000, while a hatchback costs somewhere between $16,700 (LT version). In comparison, a base four-door Kia Rio costs about $200 more in Mexico, a Hyundai HB20S sedan starts there at $19,000, and a Nissan Versa starts at $18,400. At the same time, Hyundai and Nissan sell more affordable Grand i10 sedans (from $14,000) and V-Drive (previous generation Versa; from $15,800) in Mexico, but the model of the Korean brand is much more compact than the Aveo, and the Nissan four-door has long been outdated.
